Reports to: Director of Marketing, BridgeUSA Programs

Department: Exchanges Marketing

 As the Marketing Manager, BridgeUSA Programs, you will be a critical member of the team responsible for driving the growth of CIEE’s BridgeUSA products through developing and executing best-in-class marketing strategies and tactics. Leveraging market insights and customer feedback, you will define targeted segments and create compelling marketing strategies & plans, both go-to-market and annual, which uniquely position CIEE’s BridgeUSA offerings across different markets and stakeholder groups. You will be a brand steward, expertly telling our BridgeUSA story to drive adoption among participants, partners, and host employers. You will be a strategic partner to the product and sales teams, with an emphasis on lead generation, product training, and messaging for enabling the sales team, B2B, and direct-to-consumer campaigns.


What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies and campaigns to drive qualified leads and revenue growth.
  • Manage and optimize lead-nurturing programs to increase conversion rates and accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Develop marketing strategies & plans that incorporate market insights and customer needs to drive brand awareness and actions.
  • Define target audiences and lead research to develop personas that inform segmented marketing strategies and campaign execution.
  • In collaboration with the Corporate Digital & Web marketing team, manage the delivery of goto-market and annual marketing plans, across web, digital, video, blogs, and social media.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and Web and Digital teams to develop content and supporting materials for existing and new campaigns.
  • Leverage data & analytics to monitor the success of marketing campaigns, always adopting a test-learn-improve approach.
  • Collaborate closely with sales staff to coordinate campaigns in alignment with sales cycles and initiatives, leveraging cross-promotional opportunities whenever possible.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to internal product and sales teams, leading product training and messaging and materials development to support sales efforts.
  • Support the delivery of high-impact events to elevate the CIEE BridgeUSA brand, educate, and engage key stakeholders, including virtual and in-person events to engage different stake holder groups (e.g., participants, partners, host employers, and other influencers).
  • Lead development and execution of communications plans to drive brand awareness where appropriate, manage relationships with outside vendors, designers, and agencies in support of marketing objectives.
  • Manage and monitor budgets, always ensuring on time, on-budget delivery.
  • Manage at least one direct report.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned


What you’ll bring:


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience.
  • At least one year of people management experience.
  • Familiarity with Adobe, Canva, Asana/Workfront, or other project management systems, Salesforce.
  • Experience with developing and executing marketing strategies and plans.
  • International exchange or study abroad experience a plus.
  • International exchange industry experience a plus.
  • Confident communicator and speaker.
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating with digital marketing to manage SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media campaigns.
  • Copywriting and editing experience in print, social and digital arenas.
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills.
  • Keen aptitude for managing projects and deadlines.
  • Welcomes feedback on their work and incorporates new ideas.
