Job description

The Business Intelligence team is an integral part of our Sales Operations team and supports the Sales and Client Services organization by providing strategic business insights to drive proactive decision making activities focused on increasing revenue, increasing retention rates and improving the overall customer experience. This team is well-versed in understanding our prospects and customers and has extensive knowledge of platforms, processes, data analytics, our products and the cross-functional customer journey.

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the pricing process and Salesforce queue. This role involves gathering requirements, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the efficient operation of pricing strategies and Salesforce management. The Business Analyst will work closely with various departments to provide strategic insights and drive decision-making activities focused on increasing revenue, retention rates, and improving overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Pricing Process: Maintain the pricing model leveraging CPQ, analyze pricing and profit margin data, and provide insights to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Salesforce Queue Management: Maintain data integrity, govern and track adoption in Salesforce (CPQ), and ensure effective Salesforce ticket queue management. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users.
  • Gather Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes and requirements aligning with best practices in optimizing Salesforce platform and the sales process.  Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Salesforce configurations, customizations and integrations.
  • Prioritize Tasks and Project Management: Define and prioritize projects, establish metrics, and maintain the adoption of the tools with the Sales and Client Services teams.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis and create dashboards that provide insights into sales pipeline, win/loss ratios, competitive analysis, market analysis, retention and churn, product analysis, and lead process effectiveness.
  • Process Automation: Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, focusing on scalability and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Customer Insights: Centralize and analyze data to develop dashboards and reports that provide proactive direction to improve customer retention and expansion.
  • Business Trends: Analyze, recognize, and report business trends, insights, and market changes.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to review data and provide recommendations on business opportunities and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, finance, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of business analytics experience, ideally supporting SaaS or healthcare organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, CPQ, Tableau or PowerBI, Gainsight, and other sales/customer success productivity tools.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and compellingly.
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Clear communicator capable of making well-reasoned recommendations to all organizational levels, from peers to executive leadership.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and to be simultaneously accountable to multiple team members.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:

87,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual
