Collins Aerospace is currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Contract Administrator to join our Engine Controls Systems team. Being a positive, helpful, team player with great attention to detail and excellent communication skills who can be effective in a cohesive and collaborative working environment is a critical expectation for this role.

As a Contracts Specialist within our Contracts team, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis to provide excellent customer service. You will advise and represent the organization in contractual matters. You will also be responsible for the execution of contracts, from award to closeout, and writing contractual documents and correspondence as needed. 

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for all facets of contract administration on primarily commercial programs, including some FAR 12 military products
  • Receipt, review, and processing of customer solicitations/RFQs/RFPs 
  • Proposal preparation; review and negotiation of contract terms and conditions 
  • Lead and manage negotiations on proposals, and lead when required, fact finds with customers 
  • Preparation of contract documents including non-disclosure agreements; inter-entity work agreements; order reviews and acknowledgments 
  • Order entry 
  • Flow down of contract requirements to internal stakeholders 
  • Change management, identification of contract and business risk 
  • Audit support; and contract close out as well as company initiatives including CORE, standard work and business financial goals 
  • Coaches, guides and mentors junior contract professionals and reviews their work to ensure output is of quality and in accordance with business objectives 
  • Minimal travel required (<10%) 
  • Willingness to work nonstandard hours 
  • Manage small projects 
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Experience with ERP, SAP preferred 
  • Experience with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
