About the Learning Solutions Advisor
Working alongside our Medical and Behavioral Strategists, Training Architects, Project Managers, Medical Writers, Creative Designers, and Editors; our Learning Solutions Advisors perform day-to-day support and administration for virtual learning and development (L&D) assets. With guidance, they provide support and advice to employees and management teams either locally, regionally, globally or by function. Serve on cross functional teams, share best practices. This position is home-based with frequent virtual meetings and collaboration with a globally-distributed team of IQVIA colleagues and clients. The busiest meeting hours tend to be 8am – 12pm EST.
Perform day-to-day support and administration for virtual learning and development (L&D) assets according to established policies and procedures. With guidance, provide support and advice to employees and management teams either locally, regionally, globally or by function. Serve on cross functional teams, share best practices.
Essential Functions
• Support the continuous development of the Learning Management System by managing expectations of the stakeholders and the availability of consultative resources, as necessary.
• Interacts with stakeholders to ensure the Learning Management System operates efficiently.
• Provide training on the system and establish usage rights for administrative assistants, members of the HR team, managers and employees.
• Support the integration of learning technologies.
• Develop team relationships with other departments to ensure the Learning Management System works well with other systems,) and ancillary products.
• Provide ongoing support for all learning technologies and related systems and processes including:
o Performance Management
o Content providers
o Hosting services
o Competency models
• Provide training to subject matter experts (SME) and Learning and Development staff on the Learning Content Management System products and ensure they have appropriate access.
• Establish and maintain a process for instructional design of all courseware and ensure it is included in the Learning Management System.
• Upload existing on-line courseware to the Learning Management System for role-based trainers, as required.
• Maintain a process for courseware design that includes tracking and coordinating the efforts of SME, designers and technical experts as needed.
• Support the integration of all learning technologies.
• Make recommendations for the learning program and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain a network of professional learning and development contacts. Maintain and keep current on developments and trends in the field. May gather information of local competitor practices
• Serve on cross-functional teams, as required.
Qualifications
• 3 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development; or Learning Management Systems Req Or
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
• Knowledge of organizational development principles and methods
• Good interpersonal, project management skills, organizational skills and leadership skills
• Good Presentation skills
• Good Listening and diagnostic skills
• Good systems knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications, HRIS applications and Learning Management Systems
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work well with various levels of internal staff and management, and external contacts
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
