Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or related field, or five years of equivalent experience., Previous experience in Software Administration is desirable, with healthcare experience preferred., Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of Relational Database Concepts and SQL is preferred., Strong detail-oriented, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. .

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, deploying, maintaining, and managing development, test, and production environments for assigned systems.
  • Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify project objectives.
  • Deploy and test software upgrades, maintaining test plans and following corporate standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation for projects, including changes in program code/scripts and software environment descriptions.

The Software Administrator Associate assists in the process of designing, deploying, maintaining, enhancing, operating and managing the development, test, as well as production environments for all assigned systems.

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' equivalent experience will be considered.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in Software Administration desirable.
Healthcare related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
Applies standard application design principles to create appropriate logical and physical application designs., Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify project objectives., Deploys and thoroughly tests software upgrades including maintenance of test plans., Follows corporate standards in naming conventions, security, and interface design., Maintains proper documentation including project documentation in the designated tracking system, changes in program code/scripts using appropriate commenting style and software change documentation, Writes and/or updates documentation to describe software environment, implementations, and infrastructure.
