We’re looking for a seasoned and proactive Senior IT Security & Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in securing and scaling our modern, cloud-first infrastructure while providing critical support across both IT operations and production environments. You’ll collaborate with global teams to drive initiatives that strengthen our security posture, streamline workflows, and ensure reliable day-to-day operations. While our environment is predominantly macOS, the focus is on delivering adaptable, platform-agnostic solutions that elevate the overall technology experience. Experience in the Ad Tech industry is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (Office) platforms.
  • Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and identity/access controls.
  • Maintain Apple Business Manager and oversee mobile device management (MDM) for a predominantly MacOS environment.
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding workflows with a focus on automation and user experience.
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS infrastructure in alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Manage and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to secure internet-facing assets.
  • Implement and manage vulnerability management using tools like Rapid7 InsightVM.
  • Support and interpret results of penetration testing, coordinating necessary remediation efforts.
  • Operate and enhance SIEM and Next-Gen Antivirus (AV) platforms for proactive threat monitoring and response.
  • Drive and support SOC 2 compliance efforts, including internal and vendor security audits and risk assessments.
  • Lead vendor security reviews and manage third-party risk assessments.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence for task tracking, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Apply Agile project management principles to deliver infrastructure and security projects on time and within scope.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for global teams and mission-critical systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT security and systems engineering, with a focus on cloud-native environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in AWS, particularly in areas of infrastructure security and WAF deployment.
  • Strong familiarity with Apple ecosystem and macOS device management.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and successfully leading technical projects to completion.
  • Deep knowledge of SOC 2 compliance, security auditing, and third-party risk management.
  • Background in the Ad Tech industry or experience supporting fast-paced, globally distributed teams.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for creating secure, scalable systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-impact, fast-moving environment.
