The Sr Specialist, Customer Solutions will support the global Sales and Account Management teams on complex, enterprise opportunities, develop solutions that meet clients’ needs, drive operational standardization, provide demonstrations and subject matter expertise to accelerate the sales and onboarding process, and improve the overall client experience.  This role will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Onboarding, Marketing and Product Management to drive growth, ensure scale and increase customer satisfaction.  The role’s key focus will be in supporting complex global enterprise prospects and clients and the successful penetration of new industries/markets through demonstration support, discovery, subject matter expertise and process walks.

Responsibilities (Duties)
  • Support Sales & Account Management in closing complex and high value global deals by acting as subject matter expert and reinforcing Accurate Background’s value proposition through technical demonstrations, discovery, Q&A and process walks 
  • Support Sales & Account Management in the RFP process through demonstrations, Q&A, and serve as technical subject matter experts to the RFP teams
  • Understand client’s needs and develop recommendations based on best practices to meet those needs while ensuring fulfillment and scalability can be attained
  • Partner with the Onboarding team to ensure accounts are onboarded quickly and efficiently    
  • On occasion, provide subject matter expertise and solutions support in client communications and partner with Sales and Account Management to address any gaps identified during the first few months after Go-Live and to ensure a successful transition to production for all new clients.   
  • Partner with Product Development to shape product roadmaps that help close competitive gaps, allow us to penetrate new industries/markets, and/or win strategic deals; serve as subject matter expert on non-standard product requests 
  • Act as a cross-functional liaison between the revenue org and operations as a first line of support with product & compliance 
  • Work closely with product marketing & sales enablement to keep training materials and product-related enablement resources up to date
  • Partner with Marketing to develop collateral for new industries/markets
  • As a member of the solution team, manage inbound tickets and requests 
  • Willingness to obtain Six-Sigma Green Belt certification to support client facing process walks

  • Qualifications (Requirements, Skills and Education)
  • Intimate knowledge of Accurate Background’s systems, products and processes and/or extensive industry experience  
  • Proficient in Salesforce   
  • Experience with HR Technology Solutions, Applicant Tracking Systems, Web Conferencing such as Zoom, Teams and Google Meet and call technology such as Gong 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and Sharepoint
  • Working knowledge of Project Management practices and software solutions such as Jira, Confluence, Atlassian, Monday.com
  • Ability to understand and present complex technical information 
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, situational awareness and negotiation skills
  • Assertive and self-confident
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present complex business and technical content
  • Ability to effectively manage executive level presentations
  • HR Solution Sales experience a huge plus 
  • Experience with Challenger Sale a huge plus
