Data, Discovery, and Decision Science (D3) is the research and analytics organization at Allstate. • Identify, research and realize key advances in the relevant areas of quantum computing
• Curate exemplary problems with relevancy to the insurance space and potential for quantum advantage
• Lead quantum computing algorithm development and exploration a technical competency
• Distill scaling properties of algorithm candidates and evaluate potential for quantum advantage
• Establish and update pathways to future business value
• Apply, adapt, and derive algorithms solving the curated problems
• Analyze algorithm performance through and simulations on classical hardware and experiments on diverse quantum hardware
• Masters Degree (Preferred)
• 10 or more years of professional experience (Preferred)
• This job does not have supervisory duties.
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation offered for this role is $160,000.00 - 235,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
