Job description

Position Summary:


As a Business Analyst within our Product Organization, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing business processes, and recommending technology-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and product outcomes. You will be empowered to build foundational skills in business analysis, product management, product operations and cross-functional collaboration.


This role requires a balance of strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and a passion for optimization. Your work will help drive key decisions and foster continuous improvement in the product development lifecycle.

Primary Accountabilities:


Product Support and Development (40%)

  • Support ongoing process improvement and work closely with Product Operations Manager to benchmark, enhance efficiency and promote change management with the product organization. 
  • Cross-functionally conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and development.
  • Work closely with Customer Experience to identify customer pain points and recommend solutions to enhance the user experience and align with business goals.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support product roadmap prioritization and strategic decisions.
  • Share insights and lessons learned with leadership, contributing to the continuous improvement of organizational processes.

Business Analysis and Execution (40%)

  • Conduct research, data analysis, and process evaluations to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define metrics that measure product success and process efficiency.
  • Support data and insights by assisting in the analysis of KPIs and provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting trends and actionable recommendations.

Continuous Improvement & Experimentation (20%)

  • Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization and testing new approaches.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze results, and iterate to enhance product development processes.

Qualifications:
Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in business analysis, project management, or related roles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile and kanban methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Looker for data analysis and reporting.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and address challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings to stakeholders.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to operate a computer and participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Occasionally required to move or lift up to 25 pounds.
