Finance Analyst IV - FP&A Healthcare

Position Purpose:  This Finance Analyst will be supporting Fidelis Care.  They will compile and analyze financial information for the company.  Lead various financial projects.  Cost effectively manage the utilization of services and develop measures to track, trend and forecast related impacts of organizational strategic initiatives.

The Financial Analyst IV is responsible for leading complex financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on Medicaid and Medicare finance.  This role requires expertise in financial modeling, strong Excel skills, and the ability to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be proactive, data-driven, and capable of translating financial data into compelling stories for senior management, driving informed decision-making.

In this Finance IV role, you will:

• Build advanced financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Run pre-established reports as well as development of new reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies
• Develop metrics to evaluate financial impact of proposed contract and medical management
• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
• Contribute commentary/insights into the business units performance based on market specific knowledge and analysis based results/indicators
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
• Identify and research variances
• Handle complex and high level financial analysis
• Present and discuss analysis with upper management
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience (not allowed to edit this section):

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of financial or data analysis experience.

Highly preferred skills/experience:

• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in Excel (Pivot table, Power BI, V & H-Lookup, SUMIFS, Excel queries), financial modeling, and forecasting.
• OneStream experience
• Solid communication skills and ability to present data to senior leadership.
• Proactive, critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
• Collaborative, with the ability to build relationships and drive strategic impact.

*Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the Continental United States.  However, due to the needs of the business, ideal schedule is 8 am - 5 pm EST*
