Role
Clients are at the heart of everything the firm does. Whether over the phone or online, the firm aims to exceed client expectations by providing a first-class experience.
The New Client Team (NCT) acts as the first point of contact in the client journey and is therefore an integral part of the firm. This role involves providing administrative support, including report checking and quality control.
The successful candidate will join a team of six administrators within the larger NCT team, working collaboratively to ensure a seamless transition for all client matters between the New Client Team and other departments across the firm.
Responsibilities
Assisting with client queries and requests.
Inputting client details into the firm’s computerised case management system.
Creating digital files and generating legal documents accurately and efficiently across a high volume of cases.
Proofreading, checking, and conducting quality control of live files before handover.
Setting up accounts for Enquiries/Litigation Assistants to complete their processes.
Handling external client correspondence.
Establishing written communication with clients who are unable to engage over the phone.
Accurately recording all correspondence.
Communicating with external associates.
Telephone communication with clients where required.
Occasional reception duties.
Performing other ad hoc duties as necessary.
Person Specification
Previous administrative experience is essential, ideally within a law firm or another professional services environment.
Excellent attention to detail is required; as a law firm, accuracy is paramount.
Ability to manage large volumes of information accurately and efficiently.
Strong IT skills are essential, with the ability to confidently work across various systems and follow set processes.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of individuals.
A team-oriented approach is key; the firm seeks someone who is happy to support colleagues and proactively tackle tasks.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above are required.
An NVQ or qualification in Business Administration would be desirable.
