Job Overview:
The Sr. Analyst, Data Infrastructure will be responsible for the Data Infrastructure of the Reporting, Analytics and Insights group within LPLs Customer Care organization. This role will be part of a team of data professionals who both deploy internal ETLs and Data infrastructure in general, as well as define requirements and specifications for enterprise data warehouse solutions focused on the Customer Care organization.
Responsibilities:
Gather data requirements and synthesize them into specifications for data warehouse solutions
Analyze the design of technical systems and business models to ensure solution meets business needs and requirements
Research and properly evaluate sources of information to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability
Support initiatives for data quality, data integrity, and data standardization efforts
Participate in building proof of concept activities by assembling large, complex data sets and creating and maintaining optimal data pipelines for those data sets
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing or enhancing existing ETL, data integration processes, and infrastructure to enable better performance and overall scalability
Lead technical design and implementation for dashboards and reporting capabilities
Interact closely with IT team on Customer Care projects and monitor deliverables to ensure timely completion of those project
Perform user acceptance testing
Evaluate and influence ETL and database tool selection and deployment

Requirements:
2+ years experience with and advanced knowledge working SQL and relational databases as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
2+ years experience with ETL/Visualization tools such as Informatica, Alteryx, and Tableau
2+ years experience with data warehouse architecture and design
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
Proven ability to driver data warehouse projects from inception through post production support
Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
Analytical mindset
