Job description

About Penbrothers

Penbrothers is an HR & remote talent management partner and one of the fastest growing companies in the Philippines. We provide talented Filipinos with global opportunities in high-growth startups and dynamic companies, from the comfort of their own homes.

About the Client

Our client is a Japan-based Destination Management Company (DMC) and the first in the country to be GSTC-certified. They specialize in creating sustainable and meaningful travel experiences—whether for leisure or corporate events—by using low-emission transport, supporting local communities, and partnering with eco-certified suppliers. Every trip is carefully designed to leave a positive impact on both people and the environment.

About the Role

As a Luxury Travel Consultant, you'll play a key role in designing and coordinating bespoke journeys throughout Japan. Working closely with the Tricolage leadership team and trusted global travel partners, you'll oversee both the creative and operational aspects of client trips. You'll also collaborate with our Concierge Support team to ensure seamless service before and during travel.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, cost, and coordinate tailor-made itineraries across Japan based on client preferences, expectations, and travel goals.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients—communicating professionally, managing expectations, and confidently navigating complex or sensitive requests.

  • Collaborate with sales partners and local suppliers to build one-of-a-kind travel experiences and ensure seamless execution.

  • Prepare thorough and beautifully crafted pre- and post-trip documentation.

  • Maintain and enrich our proprietary database of accommodations, experiences, and on-the-ground partners across Japan.

  • Provide real-time support during trips through coordination with the Concierge Support team.

  • Proactively seek, assess, and incorporate client feedback to elevate service standards.

  • Stay ahead of trends in luxury travel and Japanese tourism, ensuring itineraries are always fresh and exciting.
