Job Description Overview:

The Business Development Manager – PC/IoT at ASUS is a pivotal role focused on driving customer acquisition, generating high-quality leads, and managing prospects to fuel the growth of the AI & IoT division. This position requires engaging with potential clients to showcase ASUS’s cutting-edge PC/IoT products, deeply understanding client needs, and delivering customized solutions that align with their business objectives. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, goal-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills, a proven ability to build strategic business relationships, and a track record of significantly enhancing company revenue. This role demands expertise in leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop scalable solutions and a strong background in cultivating ecosystem partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to drive exponential revenue growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities through targeted sales strategies, leveraging AWS working experiences to propose scalable, cloud-integrated PC/IoT solutions.
  • Build and nurture long-term business relationships with current and potential clients, including ISVs, to foster ecosystem partnerships that enhance product offerings and market reach.
  • Understand client needs, provide tailored solutions and support, and handle follow-up inquiries to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations at client meetings, trade shows, and conferences, highlighting ASUS’s PC/IoT capabilities and AWS-integrated solutions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of prospective clients and ecosystem partners, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and partnership opportunities.
  • Conduct cold calls and strategic outreach to generate new business leads and identify potential ISV partners.
  • Collaborate with management on sales planning, forecasting, and goal setting, incorporating strategies to exponentially increase revenue through ecosystem partnerships.
  • Stay informed about ASUS’s product and service offerings, industry trends, and advancements in AWS and IoT technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive exponential revenue growth by developing and executing strategies to expand ASUS’s PC/IoT market presence through ISV partnerships and AWS-based solutions.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in lead generation, prospect management, and closing high-value deals in the PC/IoT sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS, including its IoT, compute, storage, and analytics services, with demonstrated success in integrating AWS solutions into client offerings.
  • Strong background in building and managing ecosystem partnerships with ISVs, resulting in innovative solutions and significant revenue growth.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, persuade, and influence potential clients and partners.
  • High-energy, outgoing, and friendly personality, with a client-centric approach to relationship building.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets, with a history of driving exponential revenue increases through strategic partnerships and technology solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment while managing multiple priorities and complex sales cycles.

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years in PC and/or IoT business development or key account management.
  • At least 3+ years Hands-on experience with AWS, including designing and deploying IoT or cloud-based solutions for clients.
  • Proven track record of building ecosystem partnerships with ISVs, leading to innovative product integrations and exponential revenue growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industry-specific sales strategies and networking within the PC/IoT and cloud computing sectors.
  • Familiarity with PC products and service offerings related to PC/IoT technologies and their integration with AWS.
  • Established network of ISV contacts and a history of successful partnership development in the technology sector.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires sitting, operating a computer, and using office equipment for extended periods.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally, to meet clients, attend industry events, and foster partnerships.
