This is a remote position.
We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to support the Document Archiving initiative within the PTDI HCM Program at Novartis. This role is focused on the execution of technical and data preparation tasks to support the consolidation and migration of HR documents from Aconso to Workday, ensuring alignment with strict system requirements and compliance procedures.
The selected consultant will be responsible for the following key tasks:
Execute pre-prepared Windows batch scripts to consolidate Aconso files (approx. 2 million files) for migration to Workday
Prepare and structure manifest files for Workday review and sign-off (up to 1000+ files depending on grouping)
Ensure compliance with Workday limitations (max. 40,000 files and 750MB per manifest)
Generate and organize ZIP archives aligned with manifest files
Track progress, record issues, and maintain an audit trail using the defined project templates
Investigate and document Workday load exceptions and rejections
Collaborate closely with the Archiving Business Lead to report issues and conduct first-level investigations
Prepare resubmission files as directed
Support the migration of files from all countries and associates globally
Language: Fluent English (spoken and written)
Systems Experience:
Aconso
Workday
MS Office Suite (especially Excel and file management tools)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of files and data
Analytical thinking and structured approach to troubleshooting and documentation
Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams
Collaborate with international teams on high-impact projects
