Job Overview

Netchex is looking for a results-oriented Vice President of New Business Sales who will lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the sales team is motivated and equipped to succeed. The VP of Business Sales will work closely with other executive leaders to align sales strategies with overall business goals. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales managers and the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure cohesive business strategies, and develop new business pipelines with the marketing and partnership team.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the executive team.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sales training programs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

 

Qualifications We're Looking For: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably as a VP or Director of Sales, or a similar leadership role, preferably within a dynamic and fast-paced SaaS software solution.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems, experience in payroll, benefits, HCM preferred.
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership communication, and interpersonal skills, including executive presence, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from senior leadership and stakeholders both within and outside of direct reports.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving successful strategic initiatives and achieving business growth.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple strategic projects and initiatives simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Innovative mindset and a passion for driving change and innovation within an organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
