Manage insurance verification and benefit information for physical therapy services.
Obtain and follow up on insurance authorizations for patient treatments.
Communicate effectively with insurance providers to ensure timely approvals.
Maintain accurate records of authorization requests and follow-up actions.
Collaborate with the clinical team to address any authorization-related inquiries.
Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Prior experience obtaining benefit information and prior authorization in a physical therapy setting is required.
Familiarity with StrataPT, Availity, Inovalon, My Ability, and United Healthcare portal is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
