You are ready if you have:

Law degree from an accredited law school
Certification in data protection (e.g. CIPP/E or similar) is desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection and privacy law.
Proven track record in managing data protection teams and providing strategic data protection advice.
Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with SaaS and data protection compliance.
Understanding data protection technologies and functions, especially within an IT environment.
Familiarity with international data protection regulations, especially GDPR. and compliance standards.
