Position Overview:
The Lead Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud network infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. This role involves leading a team of network engineers, collaborating with other IT teams, and driving the adoption of cloud technologies to support business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud network solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate cloud network solutions with existing systems and applications.
Configure and manage Site to Site VPN tunnels, SSO
Citrix NetScaler administration & management
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to client connectivity
Reduce Security Risk exposures by reducing managed and unmanaged risk units. Own Risk Score
Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Implement security measures to protect cloud network infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new products and services to enhance network capabilities.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in cloud network engineering, with a focus on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and architecture.
Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams..
Preferred Skills:
Certifications such as Azure Network Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer.
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Terraform).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
