Senior International Tax Analyst - REMOTE (U.S.)

Shift: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, Eastern Time Zone

Our Global Tax team serves as a central part in the success of our business. We are seeking a Senior International Tax Analyst. The successful candidate will manage complex workstreams that involve multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships within Tax and across the company.  

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Research, analyze, interpret, and apply the tax law, regulations, and administrative guidance to complex fact patterns; 

  • Gain understanding of international tax reform legislation and assist with modeling the potential implications to the company’s international tax inclusions; 

  • Compute and assist in the maintenance of Labcorp’s international tax calculations including gathering data inputs (i.e., current E&P, FX, GILTI, FTC, FDII, and BEAT); 

  • Review international income tax compliance forms and supporting schedules, including but not limited to Forms 1118, 5471, 8865, 8858, and 8990 series; 

  • Review and/or update quarterly and year-end GILTI, FTC and FDII provision calculations; 

  • Assist in managing review and responses to IRS information document requests; 

  • Work collaboratively with international tax team members and third-party advisers; 

  • Assist on other special projects and engage with cross functional teams (e.g., corporate development, legal, business transformation, etc.); and 

  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required with a preference for concentration in Tax 

  • 5+ years of international tax experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or multinational company 

  • CPA strongly preferred 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills 

  • Experience with Corporate Tax is a strong plus 

  • Exposure to Alteryx, MS Office Suite, tax research tools, and ERP systems a plus 

  • Ability to travel to Research Triangle Park, NC for in-person meetings around 4-5 times per year is required

Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 (State minimum wages apply if higher) 

 

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
