Are you ready to step into a role where you help people get back on the road after life throws them a curveball? As a Catastrophe Field Auto Adjuster, you’ll be the trusted face of our company, traveling nationwide to support customers affected by catastrophic events like floods, hurricanes, and wildfires. Whether it’s a car, motorcycle, ATV, RV, or even a boat, you’ll investigate damage, review policies, and help customers move forward by settling moderately complex claims with care and confidence.
This is more than a desk job—it's a dynamic blend of in-the-field action and virtual collaboration, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a real impact on the ground.

What You’ll Do:

  • Travel across the country to assess vehicle damage and support customers during times of crisis
  • Review policy coverage, investigate claims, and document your findings
  • Prepare or validate repair estimates using industry-leading tools
  • Negotiate and settle claims with empathy and efficiency
  • Capture detailed notes, decisions, and supporting documentation in the claims system
  • Balance your time between virtual assignments and in-person inspections (70% field, 30% virtual)

What You Bring:

  • A passion for helping people and solving problems
  • 2+ years of claims or auto damage experience (preferred)
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency with estimating software such as CCC or Mitchell
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, including paintless dent repair
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment

Notice of Licensing Requirements

As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor.  If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire.

If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed.

Sign on Bonus

You may be eligible for a $1000 Licensing Sign on Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role.  This could include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $50,700.00 - 89,062.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
