  • Manage projects and issues independently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Job description

The qualifications we are looking for are mixture of work experience and educational background.

They are split into Minimum Qualifications (must have) and Additional Qualifications (nice to have) along with soft skills (competencies) needed for the role:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or related field or equivalent additional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Microsoft System Engineer in an enterprise environment, focused on area(s) of responsibility.
  • 4+ years of experience in computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 1+ Years Experience with Azure Intune and/or Autopilot

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

  • Technical certifications preferred: Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Citrix, EMC or Red Hat, depending on area of responsibility.
  • Must possess and have proven troubleshooting skills.

 

Soft Skills:

 

  • Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally.
  • Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to efficiently and independently manage projects and issues.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and can multi-task.
  • Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives.
  • Must be flexible and work with a high level of initiative. 
  • Must have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.

The Microsoft Engineer is responsible for maintaining and architecting our existing Microsoft (AD, ADFS, SSO, DNS, DHCP, Azure) infrastructure and work on future internal and external facing development projects. They will work closely with IT security in developing, implementing and maintaining security procedures and documentation. This role will be integral in working with other teams, Directors and C level individuals to development practical solutions to business needs.
