Senior Nimble Application Administrator is responsible for the AAMC Association Management System(AMS), including: vendor management, software administration, configuration, coordination of user requirements identification and planning, testing of all implementations and changes, and system performance monitoring. The position is responsible for communicating effectively with business users, monitoring system stability and performance, and ensuring compliance with AAMC security and data standards. This team member will be responsible for working closely with users to troubleshoot, research, and resolve issues within the software product/service. In this role, the Data Applications Specialist will help coordinate the planning, evaluation, and risk assessment related to software enhancements and updates to ensure maintenance of agreed-upon performance, quality, and security standards. The role will collaborate and coordinate system plans with business team,s software engineers, data engineers, data analysts, IT security, and system users, for implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the AMS
Serve as the primary administrator for AMS, owning platform stability, user experience, and ongoing maintenance. Lead the maintenance and improvement of crucial systems functions and workflow processes within the AAMC’s Association Management Software system.
Determine and implement configuration requirements to ensure agreed-upon delivery of data, services, and system performance
Coordinate technical requirements and implementation with other systems that integrate or are compatible with the AMS
Be accountable for the timely review of issues related to the AMS, researching the root cause of issues, and planning and completing the resolution of issues
Monitor system performance to ensure alignment with standards with the vendor and the business owner
Create, handle, and refine custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and Lightning components.
Implement and maintain declarative automations: Flow, Process Builder, validation rules, and approval processes.
Monitor system performance, optimize configurations, and resolve issues promptly.
Handle user setup, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and access.
Perform regular audits to ensure data security, privacy compliance, and alignment to governance standard methodologies.
Own integrations between the AMS system and other tools/systems such as Salesforce, Workday, event, Snowflake, Postgres, etc.
Evaluate any new tools or products to support evolving business needs.
Data sync and automations
Serve as an IT contact for business owners related to:
Understand data content, standards, dependencies, and uses
Collaborate with business users and the IT team to understand dependencies on other data systems for integration, impact on data-dependent processes, and automation opportunities
Provide regular reporting on service ticket status for troubleshooting access issues, data issues, and performance issues
Provide resources and training for users to ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and use of the AMS
Assist with the software release process by ensuring that release notes and update sets are properly documented.
Serivce Provider Vendor Management
Handle activities related to system management, communications, and planning, including:
Establishing quality and efficiency benchmarks that align with service level agreements and organizational standards
Ensuring alignment of software/service enhancements, security implementations, and requirements gathering for vendor release planning
Build and maintain dashboards, advanced reports, and analytics to provide data insights to business leaders.
Manage data imports, exports, de-duplication, and cleansing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field
5 - 7 years of related work experience
Familiarity with SaaS system management lifecycle and emerging technologies. Previous customer support experience within CRM/AMS platforms
Basic knowledge of enterprise system design and basic knowledge of SCRUM or agile methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid attention to detail, and a moderate level of ability to organize and prioritize
Strong understanding of databases
Strong PC skills, including familiarity with scripting, data tables, and flows.
Ability to guide, train, and learn from others, Ability to work in a team and independently, Ability to multitask and handle time effectively
Certifications:
SalesForce Advance Administrator - Preferred
Remote Work Eligibility
This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous USCompensation Grade Range
$103,190.00-$121,400.00Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.
If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
