Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Provide formulary modeling and consultation for custom client formularies.
· Analyze market data, P&T decisions, and competitive landscape to inform formulary decisions.
· Collaborate with clinical teams to assess new drugs and therapeutic alternative strategies.
· Participates in internal value assessment committee, guiding the evaluation strategic opportunities based on clinical, economic, and value-based criteria.
· Participate in committee meetings, ensure adherence to evaluation frameworks, and drive consensus on formulary decisions.
· Oversee the development and implementation of value assessment methodologies for rigorous and transparent evaluations.
· Oversee the development and execution of project plans, timelines, and deliverables related to team initiatives..
· Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding custom formulary clients from a rebate perspective.
· Develop and deliver presentations and reports to various levels within the organization, clients, and other key stakeholders.
· Develop and maintain process for external communications highlighting high impact formulary changes, in line with standard client communication processes and procedures.

· Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure custom formulary strategies comply with federal and state regulations, particularly for Medicare Part D.

· Provide consultative support to client account teams related to market events, legislative items and standard MedImpact decisions.
· Generate regular reports on formulary performance, financial impact, and clinical outcomes for senior leadership and clients.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance formulary management practices.
· Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the formulary team.
· Builds strong and collaborative working relationships with other members of the Trade Relations department, Account Team, Financial Analytics Team and other MedImpact departments to deliver value to clients and generate revenue and reduced risk for MedImpact.
· Evaluate client support model for clients and provide feedback to leadership.
Supervisory Responsibilities
May manage assigned staff in the Trade Relations, Formulary Consultation department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the assigned team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supports and enforces all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, taking corrective action whenever necessary.

This position may include client and external communication that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; Respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients; Manage difficult or emotional client situations.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy (or equivalent combination of education and experience, such as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh)) plus 10+ years of related experienceFive (5) years experience in client management or client support roles. Understanding and hands on experience with rebate modeling and economics. Four (4) years of supervisory experience leading individual contributors and leading leaders preferred, if people leadership is required for the role. The supervisory experience requirement may be substituted with an appropriate mix of leadership experience plus 8 years of MedImpact experience plus an appropriate external leadership training program and internal mentorship with a seasoned leader (VP+ level) that must be completed within 12 months in new position.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software including Word and Access. Must have strong Excel skills. Prefer working knowledge of SQL software.
Registered Pharmacist in good standing.
Other Skills and Abilities
Solid working knowledge of PBM industry, healthcare, and government programs. Possess proven leadership skills, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), analytical and financial reasoning skills. Requires experience in operational application of database applications, accounting, finance, or data analysis. Demonstrated attention to detail and experience leading quality improvement initiatives. Requires the ability to represent MedImpact at the enterprise level with proper business decisions.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as algebra, probability, and statistical inference. Ability to apply these skills to practical situations.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as legal agreements, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Working Hours
This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonably meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Travel - This position requires occasional domestic travel of up to 5% - 10% of the time.
