Three Peaks International is a Sydney based staffing solutions partner which provides local and virtual staffing solutions to Australian businesses through outsourcing, recruitment, and migration.

We are seeking a competent and analytical Accountant to work for one of established chartered account firms in Australia.

Your day looks like..

  • Prepare and processing of clients expenses, bank statements
  • Reconciliations of balance sheets and profit and loss - Monthly, Quarterly and Annually.
  • Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns- (Independent, Company and Trust Tax Returns) ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
  • Review and update workflow reports to manage and track the status of client projects.
  • Supporting with accounting, taxation, and business advisory research and technical advisory work for clients

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Australian Taxation
  • Proficient in using XERO and Quick books and utilizing tax software and tools such as HandiSoft.
  • Extensive experience in preparing and filing tax returns, BAS, and IAS for Australian clients.
  • Has excellent organization skills, can work and prepare reports for multiple clients
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Possess necessary equipment, including a computer, high-speed internet, and a headset.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Thorough understanding of Australian tax codes, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Technical Requirements

- Should have personal and working laptop/ Desktop, and one (1) back up
- Has Noise-cancelling headset (for interview and meetings)
- Back up internet connection (at least 30-50 mbps)
