Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Support Specialist to join our team to support our US based operations. This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical background, a proactive mindset, and a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reviewing system logs, experience in monitoring services and servers in a Linux environment, and excellent SQL skills to assist with data-related investigations and issue resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Support our US-based operations, East Coast timezone.

  • Provide technical support to internal users and/or external clients via ticketing system and email.

  • Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot system and application issues.

  • Monitor services and servers as required, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Demonstrate proficiency and comfort working in Linux environments, including command-line operations and basic system troubleshooting.

  • Review and interpret server logs to identify and resolve errors or escalate when needed.

  • Write and execute SQL queries on MySQL databases to investigate data issues and support operations.

  • Document incidents, troubleshooting steps and resolutions clearly.

  • Collaborate with first line Support, Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams for issue resolution and root cause analysis.

  • Assist with process improvement initiatives for support workflows.

  • Maintain clear documentation of incidents and resolutions in the support system.

  • Continuously improve support processes and documentation.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role.

  • Excellent proficiency in MySQL (SELECT, JOINs, filtering, data analysis, performance tuning).

  • Familiarity with monitoring  services and servers (Linux environments).

  • Ability to interpret and troubleshoot server logs.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working with remote tools and ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, FreshDesk).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration.

  • Fluent in English. 


Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Google).

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools.

  • Experience with Java and Javascript.
