Content & Digital Media Specialist (ZR_22440_JOB)

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• 40 hours/week
  

• Flexible during the client's business hours, Eastern Standard Time (EST) – Washington, D.C./New York, NY: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. This includes a 1-hour PAID break each day after 4 hours of work (i.e., 4 hours work, 1-hour paid break, then 3 hours work),
  

Responsibilities:

• Draft and edit written content including stories, essays, and advocacy pieces focused on female refugees
  

• Source and produce visual content, including graphics and photography from online resources
  

• Coordinate podcast development, including interview preparation and script writing
  

• Manage editorial and content calendars to ensure consistent messaging
  

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to build audience engagement
  

• Research and identify potential podcast guests and content contributors
  

• Manage communication channels and email correspondence
  

• Create and maintain social media presence
  

• Coordinate with stakeholders for content contributions and guest appearances
  

• Support overall platform growth through organic marketing initiatives
  

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Substack platform or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  

• Experience with content creation and editorial processes
  

• Basic understanding of podcast production
  

• Familiarity with visual content selection and basic graphic design principles
  

• Experience with social media management and community engagement
  

• Strong organizational and project management skills
  

• Interest in or knowledge of refugee issues and advocacy
  

• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
  

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
