Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:  Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)  Houston Time | Central Standard Time (CST)
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours


Responsibilities
  • Process and verify court documents and legal filings

  • Create and review legal affidavits based on filed cases

  • Manage internal email communications and organize legal documents

  • Record and implement special instructions for process serving

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information and requirements

  • Apply legal knowledge to ensure accurate document processing and verification


Scope
  • Full-time (35–40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week)

  • Working U.S. Central Time Zone hours (Houston, TX)

  • Internal communications only — no direct client contact

  • Remote work with company-provided computer and internet access

  • Higher-tier responsibility level focused on legal document verification


Requirements
  • Previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal is required

  • Strong understanding of U.S. legal terminology and procedures

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

  • Strong written communication skills in English

  • Ability to work independently and proactively
