Job Overview

Our company is seeking a highly skilled AU Senior UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer to help us build intuitive, powerful, and visually stunning web applications. In this hybrid role, you’ll own the entire UI/UX lifecycle—from ideation and wireframes to prototyping and implementing pixel-perfect React components with Tailwind CSS. You’ll collaborate with our product and development teams to shape the future of our CMS dashboards and internal tools, focused on delivering seamless and impactful user experiences.

Job Description

As a Senior UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for:
  • Design Leadership: Lead the design process for complex web applications, particularly CMS dashboards and music distribution tools.
  • UX Design: Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • UI Development: Build visually compelling front-end interfaces using React, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Visual Quality Control: Translate designs into reusable, accessible, and responsive UI components with precision.
  • Design Standards: Define and maintain visual design guidelines and component consistency across platforms.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and backend developers to ensure smooth integration and consistent user experiences.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop and iterate interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder feedback.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on the latest UI/UX trends, front-end tools, and best practices.

Requirements
Experience & Tools
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX design for complex web applications.
  • Experience working for an Australian Client/Business is required.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in CMS dashboards, data visualization, or enterprise web apps.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Front-End Development
  • Solid experience with React.js: Building reusable components, managing component state, and understanding React’s lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of Tailwind CSS for rapid development of custom styles and layouts.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques (Flexbox, Grid).
  • Strong attention to design-to-code accuracy and visual fidelity.
Soft Skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Comfortable using Git for version control.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries .
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools like Vite or Webpack .
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how front-end apps interact with them.
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
