Our team is growing: 

Provide’s Credit Team is looking for a bold, compassionate, and focused Sr. Credit Officer who demonstrates extensive knowledge of financial and risk analysis and expertise in financial modeling. In this role, you will focus on supporting the daily duties of underwriting and monitoring credit while performing analytical tasks and identifying risks or issues as needed. The Senior Credit Officer demonstrates proficiency in underwriting, with the ability to complete the underwriting process from beginning to end with limited oversight.

The Senior Credit Officer will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Additionally, will be accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience, while operating within the Bank's risk appetite.  The Senior Credit Officer should achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers in credit and underwriting, performing analytical tasks as needed.
  • Perform global cash flow and balance sheet analysis for small-business healthcare loans of up to $10 million, with little to no errors.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team in developing loan structures that meet the needs of the customer and adhere to the organizations risk appetite
  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process improvements and software development
  • Mentor portfolio analysts, credit analysts, and credit officers to help them develop risk management skills and knowledge.
  • Assist credit management and executive team on future product developments and potential growth opportunities.
  • Take appropriate remedial actions to resolve deficiencies and escalates questions/disputes to appropriate level when necessary.
  • Conduct training of new employees as needed, along with special projects as assigned by management.

Our newest teammate will have: 

  • Five+ years of underwriting, portfolio monitoring, or similar business loan analysis
  • Proven ability to conduct financial and risk analysis, including the ability to develop   financial models. Advanced knowledge of commercial lending and credit standards, policies, procedures, and products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using effective problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience in a similar healthcare lending role.
  • Knowledge of corporate business structure and legal documents.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting).
  • Experience in basic software applications, particularly Excel and all Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the local or regional market preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in internal banking applications
