We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Global Trade (GT) Professional to grow their skills as part of the world’s largest aerospace and defense company – RTX Corporation. As part of the Raytheon Legal, Contracts & Compliance (LCC) organization, GT Professionals play a critical role in supporting the successful capture of international pursuits, and the execution of contracts, program and supply chain requirements. Global Trade Professionals ensure that Raytheon remains compliant with both U.S. and Non-U.S. Export/Import (EX/IM) regulations in all the company’s global business transactions.
This position is responsible for working with the Raytheon Global Trade Team to develop RPS strategies, resolve RPS hits, support Record Management, and take on special projects.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with Record Management (RM) team and internal customers to resolve Restricted Parties Screening (RPS) and GT related issues.
- Develop and deliver training, as required, for employees engaged in business activities related to RPS and RM.
- Monitor submittal and approval statuses in various internal and external databases.
- Support Raytheon Global Trade with set-up and activation of ITAR and EAR authorizations.
- Validate authorization records data in Raytheon systems for compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
- Monitor, process, and maintain authorization records to ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and U.S. regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate RPS and recordkeeping issues to the Authorization Records Lead and/or Global Trade Director.
- Generate and analyze reports to identify and mitigate regulatory and policy risks.
- Support other Functions as necessary to facilitate job responsibilities.
- Support preparation for audits and assessments and resulting corrective actions closures.
- Represent and/or support RM team in meetings and discussions with internal customers.
- Participate in RAY and Corporate Global Trade projects, as required.
- Track export/import authorization record updates to facilitate briefings for organizational and functional leadership.
- Assist in implementation of company procedures and instructions to support compliance with U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policy.
- Minimal domestic travel - approximately once per quarter.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Records and data management, auditing or similar experience
- Experience researching and/or applying the ITAR / EAR regulations
- Experience with Global Trade tools and/or systems such as DECCS, SNAP-R, SAP-GT, OCR EASE IT

- Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
