This position will report to the VP of Client Success Programs, under the office of the Chief Client Officer.

Role Overview

The Client Advocacy Programs Director will act as a strategic liaison between the Sales, Client Success and Marketing organization to ensure we bring visibility to the voice of the customer through advocacy initiatives and assets. This role focuses on building strong relationships with the field sales organizations, developing client relationships, identifying advocacy opportunities, and managing the end-to-end development of external assets to promote client advocates in support of business growth. Clear MBOs will be outlined as part of the success criteria and compensation package for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive client advocacy strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Account Management teams, identifying opportunities for advocacy such as case studies, testimonials, and videos on a global level.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to source and recommend PR opportunities including press releases, client awards, and promotion of clients in Tier 1/Tier 2 publications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client advocates, ensuring they have the resources needed to represent the company effectively, including key speaking points and corporate messaging.
  • Design, manage and curate a client award program.
  • Provide prep to support the Chief Client Officer with executive meetings.
  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of clients marketing rights, logo usage, Fortune 500 status, etc.
  • Track client participation in advocacy programs to support Account Management KSO/MBOs.
  • Provide analytics and reports illustrate impact and ROI of the program.
  • Actively manage intake requests with ability to show progress, success, and recommendations for process improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in client advocacy, customer success, or account management within a B2B technology environment.
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships with clients and drive advocacy initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and experience using feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology-driven industries.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Smartsheet, MS Office Suite and customer engagement platforms.
  • Background in marketing or public relations is a plus.

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 133k - 166k depending on skills and experience.
