Position Purpose
As a direct report to the Senior Director, Community Engagement, the Coordinator, Community Engagement provides essential administrative and project support to the Senior Director and Director of Community Engagement. As a member of the Agency Growth team within Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA), the coordinator supports the implementation of community engagement strategies across the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) network of more than 230 BBBS agencies, assisting in initiatives designed to ensure every young person has access to transformative mentoring experiences.
Location: 100% Remote (Continental United States)
FLSA Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt/Hourly
Travel: 5% or less

Education, Skills & Related Work Experience
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant professional experience.
Years and Scope of Related Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support, project coordination, ideally in a nonprofit or youth development environment.
Skills and Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency; Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively; Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse groups and stakeholders; Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and commitment to confidentiality; Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams; Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders; Familiarity with Asana and CRM systems.
