Job description

That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Senior SIU Field Investigator to join the SIU team As a Senior Field Investigator, you will conduct investigations of suspected cases of fraud or other illegal activities against the Company, including interviewing, database inquiries, taking statements, and locating sources of information and witnesses. Responsibilities include evaluating information to determine its credibility, referring and coordinating investigation assignments to outside agencies, and providing training and support to all departments in the claims handling process. Investigators will also be expected to participate in SIU industry meetings.

Due to this being a home-based/remote position, candidates must reside directly in the coverage area to be worked. We are looking to fill a position in the following Florida region:

(1) Broward County

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must possess a strong investigative background
  • Minimum of 3-5 years documented fraud investigative experience in areas of SIU and/or law enforcement experience
  • For law enforcement experience, prior detective-level experience required
  • Prior field investigative statements
  • Fact finding details to include complex investigations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook with working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
  • College degree strongly preferred, but not required
  • Typing of a minimum 35 WPM
  • Candidate must have a valid Driver’s License and will be subject to background and driving record checks
