The Senior Loss Control Advisor, Agribusiness assists clients in recognizing and eliminating safety hazards. This role inspects insured properties to evaluate physical conditions and designs, implements and promotes safety programs and safety training by performing the following duties.

What You'll Do
Prepares written report of findings and recommendations for correction of unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
Analyzes history of accidents and claims against insured and inspects scenes of accidents to determine causes and to develop accident prevention programs.
Observes business operations and management practices to determine safety issues and hazards affecting insurance premiums and losses.
Develops, implements, and monitors activities and programs, in conjunction with the insured, to control losses and improve safety. Conducts training of client personnel on proper safety and risk management practices.
Meets with client risk management and safety personnel.
Measures insured area, calculates frontage, and records description and amount of stock, and photographs or drafts scale drawings of properties, to identify factors affecting insurance premiums.
Conducts informational meetings among various educational, civic, and industrial groups to promote general safety concepts.
Works closely with Producers in the development of new business and retention of existing clients, including participation in sales presentations as required.
Effectively manage insurance carrier loss control services to maximize client service options.
Create and provide quality loss control presentations that address our client’s need and promotes risk management services. Works with the client’s management and risk management team to develop and implement loss control policies, programs and educational resources to effectively manage the clients hazards and risks.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel is expected to be 50% in this role.
