Responsibilities

  • The work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm EST / 7am - 4pm CST **

Primary position responsibilities:

  • Coding in Clintegrity of ICD-10-CM, CPT & HCPCS codes sequenced according to Medicare guidelines with applicable modifiers for each surgical episode.
  • Utilize the Automated Pending List to retrieve missing documents and reconcile to Clintegrity WL.
  • Answer center/physician questions.
  • Provide coverage for teammates as needed.

Secondary position responsibilities:

  • Must maintain current coding credential and perform associated Continuing Education Units
  • Attend annual SCA Coding Seminar
  • Other assigned duties

Qualifications

Required Licenses or Certificates:

Must have: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and/or Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center Coder (CASCC).

Required work experience (minimum requirements of candidate):

  • Must have at least 3 years experience with multi-specialty ASC Coding.

USD $20.00/Hr. USD $30.00/Hr.
