Position Description
The
Global Product Manager with a focus on upstream marketing activities will be instrumental in shaping the future of our syndromic solution globally. This role demands a strong background in scientific marketing and molecular microbiology syndromic tests. Specifically for the development and execution of strategies to drive product innovation and market entry in the diagnostic industry.
This is a global role and the candidate can be home office based within Europe.
Key Responsabilities
- Product Strategy Development: Lead the development of global product strategies, including market entry and positioning plans.
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Product Innovation: Collaborate with R&D to drive product innovation based on market insights and customer feedback.
- Business Case Development: Develop business cases for new product initiatives.
- Milestone Collaboration: Collaborate with the core team (project management, R&D, clinical, medical, regulatory, operations) to meet milestones for successful submission to TÜV/FDA and product launches.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather insights and drive alignment on product strategies.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Develop and manage, in close collaboration with the strategic marketing team, the go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.
Position Requirements
- Master's degree in molecular microbiology or sciences with +5 years’ experience in IVD healthcare (diagnostics). Experience in market analysis, business case development and product management.
- Familiarity with the IVD healthcare industry, molecular microbiology and multiplex Syndromic testing preferred
- +5 years in product management or related roles with diagnostic products.
- Excellent communication skills in English and another language. Ability to interact effectively across hierarchies and departments.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
- Works closely with the Core Teams: Project management, R&D, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Operations. Works closely with global, regional, and local marketing colleagues worldwide.
