Summary
We are actively hiring a full-time Sales Engineer to join our Delivery team and support the continued growth of Bamboo Health. Bamboo Health offers technology products and services that provide the tools necessary for healthcare organizations to perform whole person care coordination for their patients.
This role will primarily be responsible for supporting sales activities by serving as an operational and technical subject matter expert, ensuring new implementations are appropriately scoped and sold, and maintaining alignment between key stakeholders across various teams (Sales, Delivery,Product), and the customer as closed-won deals progress into implementation.
What You’ll Do
Partner with members of the Sales organization to provide operational and technical expertise and support by attending sales meetings/calls as needed
Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain Bamboo Health’s products and services to customers
Scope customer requirements, determine required product(s), pricing packages, contracting needs, and coordinate with the Sales team to ensure the strategic considerations of proposed solutions are represented in customer-facing documentation.
Surface demand for new product(s) and capabilities to Product and Engineering. Factor development timelines into scoping/deal design for active Sales opportunities.
Support the Sales team during the approval/escalation process of non-standard pricingpackages, RFP responses, and Statements of Works via the Deal Review process
Own maintenance and continuous improvement of standard RFP content, DDI pricing models, and Statement of Work language
Facilitate smooth post-sale customer handoffs between Sales and Delivery (implementation) teams
Design, build, and refine processes and playbooks in support of the responsibilities above

Develop solid understanding of Bamboo Health’s products and services, Launch packages and SOWs, and onboarding processes
Establish relationships with Sales, Delivery, and Product team members
Begin to demonstrate subject matter expertise by participating on Sales meetings/calls and RFP writing
In 6 months…
Demonstrate mastery of Bamboo Health’s products and services, Launch packages and SOWs, and onboarding processes
Assume ownership of RFP development, pricing activities, and development of materials for escalation calls
Coordinate with Sales Engineering Director and Sales team to own the development of materials tied to the Deal Review process for applicable sales opportunities
In 12 months…
Influence product, service, and process improvement by representing the prospect’s point-of-view from an operational and technical perspective
Oversee the process for playbook development for end-to-end intake of Sales support requests, RFP writing, and hand-offs from Sales to Delivery
What You Need
7+ years of experience in sales or similar customer-facing roles, in the healthcare or technology industries a plus
Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical product capabilities and the ability to translate customer requests into existing or net new product functionality
The ability to relate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with high-growth companies a plus
Demonstrate a “go-getter” attitude with a desire to make a meaningful impact on the Sales Engineering team
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.
