The Analyst role within the Regulatory Remediation Office will support and consult on remediation efforts across the bank, ensuring timely, effective, and sustainable resolutions. In addition, this role will contribute towards the initial centralization of regulatory remediation oversight and ongoing enhancements to related processes and management routines. The Senior Analyst will have working knowledge of sound risk management principles as well as advanced regulatory remediation experience.

 

This role will work across all lines of defense and partner closely with other risk disciplines within the Risk Management organization, to manage deliverables in a dynamic and matrixed environment while embracing a collaborative and agile approach.  

  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Supports/consults on remediation efforts across the bank, ensuring timely, effective, and sustainable resolution of regulatory and operational issues
  • Works closely with business units, compliance, risk review, IT, and operational teams to coordinate remediation activities across the organization
  • Ensures remediation plans are well-documented, aligned with regulatory expectations, and effectively integrated into business processes across the company
  • Collaborates across Risk Management and Legal, as needed to ensure remediation efforts align with applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintains awareness of regulatory developments and industry best practices related to remediation management, contributing to ongoing opportunities to enhance effectiveness/efficiencies
  • May serves as a liaison for remediation-related interactions with regulators, auditors, and other oversight bodies

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Deep understanding of the three lines of defense model, associated industry type frameworks, and external risk management expectations 
  • Strong risk remediation related experience; preferably within an Audit or First/Second Line Risk & Control function or related regulatory environment
  • Thinks strategically while executing tactically   
  • Uses sound judgement in demonstrating decision making and raising escalations
  • Communicates ideas in a compelling and concise manner that invokes support from others
  • Strong written communications with an appropriate balance of storytelling and supporting detailed documentation
  • Demonstrated focus on relationship management/stakeholder engagements
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities 
  • Proven track record of integrity ethics, judgment, and maturity 
  • Is self-motivated and results-oriented 
  • Strong with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Archer experience a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
