Husch Blackwell, a national law firm, has an immediate opening for an International Trade & Supply Chain Associate with a minimum of four years of experience. We will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office, The Link.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in handling complex regulatory matters within the transportation, cargo, and logistics industries. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of working with various supply chain participants, including shippers, motor carriers, rail companies, ocean vessels, etc. Maritime experience specifically in regulatory compliance, licensing requirements and working with the Federal Maritime Commission is required. A deep understanding of the legal and regulatory challenges specific to the transportation and logistics industries is essential. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
The candidate must have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.

Pursuant application state laws, the compensation range for this position in Denver, Oakland, Los Angeles, and Washington, D. C. only is $220,000 to $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus. In addition, employees receive a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision.
