About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Banner Accounts Receivables Consultant, experienced with the Banner Finance & Accounts Receivable module. As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in consulting with our customers and delivering value add services that provide the quickest path to institutional success. This role provides personalized and on-going guidance and support on Ellucian solutions and customer business operations post-implementation, enabling customers to maximize value from their solutions. The role works closely with the customer, building a relationship with the customer’s points of contact, understanding their business needs and the customer’s current use and knowledge of the Ellucian solution. The Consultant works with customers on assigned projects to identify solutions to business and functional problems.
Additional activities include:
Executing and completing assigned projects within the time and scope negotiated with the customer.
Evaluating existing business processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvement. Implementing systems and proof of
concepts that best fit the customer's needs.
Ensuring customer satisfaction until the project is complete.
The successful candidate will possess a strong functional understanding of the Banner Student AR module and an overall understanding of Ellucian’s broad portfolio of solutions.
Additional knowledge of touch points to the Banner Student AR module is a plus.

In this mission critical role, you will partner with our customers to help enable their business office including transformation to Cloud/SaaS solutions and ensure successful adoption of these solutions.
Where you will make an impact
Provides high-quality customer consultation and support to Ellucian’s Banner product suite, specifically Banner Student AR.
Assists customers with implementing new functionality into the Ellucian Banner Student AR module.
Assists clients in troubleshooting issues related to Banner Student AR and other modules within the Ellucian Banner product suite.
Interacts with the customer and other consultants to translate business requirements into functional specifications for conversions, reporting, interfaces and customizations.
Facilitates business process review and application prototyping sessions as well as providing insight into best practice methodologies.
Evaluates and modifies systems, where appropriate, relative to the customer business practices.
Provides customer high-quality business process, change management and other appropriate documentation.
Provides direction in developing testing methodology and test scripts for use during upgrades, patch application and customizations.
Works with the customer to test and confirm modifications and/or updates meet specifications.
Implements modifications and/or updates.
Provides guidance in the development of user-training strategy, and when appropriate, delivers such training.
Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude.
