Position Overview
The VP, LATAM is a critical leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring operational excellence across the Latin American region. This individual will lead a diverse team of sales professionals and collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve ambitious sales targets, expand market share, and enhance customer satisfaction. As the Country Manager, this role will also be responsible for the overall operational success and strategic direction of the company's business within LATAM.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the LATAM region, aligned with global sales objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Accurately forecast sales revenue and manage the sales pipeline, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and market expansion initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners across the LATAM region.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Regional Leadership & Strategic Direction
- Serve as the senior leader for the company's business operations in the LATAM region.
- Develop and implement a regional business plan that aligns with the company's overall strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and business practices.
- Represent the company in key industry events and build strong relationships with local stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with operating in the LATAM region.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, operations, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for LATAM initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the P&L for the LATAM region, ensuring responsible budget management and resource allocation.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the performance of the LATAM business.
- Ensure that all LATAM operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the LATAM region, preferably in Software or Technology Sales.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the LATAM market, including cultural nuances and business practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the LATAM region.
- Existing network of contacts in the LATAM business community.

The base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
