DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position only available in Peru, Colombia, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps best practices, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud services across Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and CircleCI.
• Manage and automate Kubernetes clusters using Helm, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations to manage infrastructure as code across Azure and AWS.
• Work with Docker and container orchestration tools to optimize deployments and manage microservices.
• Implement and manage Azure services such as AKS, Key Vault, PostgreSQL, and Storage Accounts using the Azure CLI.
• Configure and maintain AWS Route53 for DNS management.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash and PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.
• Secure and optimize cloud environments with Cloudflare and Nginx for traffic management and security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to support infrastructure needs and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong expertise in GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for container orchestration and deployment.
• Proficiency with Azure (AKS, Key Vault, PostgreSQL, Storage Accounts) and Azure CLI.
• Familiarity with AWS Route53 for DNS management.
• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with Nginx for web server and reverse proxy configurations.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare for security and traffic management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as GCP.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
• Security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
