People Operations Partner, People Operations

 

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and future growth of the Human Resources department and implement programs and policies to ensure Vaniam Group is the employer of choice. It’s a key role in the future of our company.

 

A Day in the Life

Deliverables

  • Develop high-quality content for an array of projects, including publications
    (eg, abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts), advisory boards, scientific platforms, gap analyses, literature summaries, slide sets, and training materials
  • Develop and implement programs related to training and development
  • Lead talent engagement initiatives and assist team within HR system
  • Compensation and benefits knowledge to guide team discussion
  • Support departments and guide employee relations situations

 

Management and Internal Responsibility

  • Business partner to internal teams with strong collaboration and communication with employees of all levels
  • Strategic HR mindset
  • This role works cross-functionally and communicates with Vaniam Group employees all over the USA
  • In this role, you will be an integral member of the company, working closely with our leadership team to understand HR and employee priorities
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team on hiring and other projects, such as internships
  • Partner on international HR needs with growth of UK office
  • Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role

What You Must Have

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within a Human Resources Function in a small company environment (100-500 employees)

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Good working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
  • Experience with Employee Relation situations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual environment
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and confidential information
  • International HR support experience
  • Immigration knowledge and experience
  • Track record of being a self starter, problem solver, and creative strategist

 

What You Might Have, but Isn’t Required

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries
  • Advanced HR Certification, such as PHR, SPHR
  • Has experience working across all HR functions
  • Compensation and benefits knowledge or experience

 

Travel Requirements

  • Travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, sponsor, and organizational needs (<5% travel expected)

 

The Team You’ll Work Closest With

You will report into the Executive Director, People Operations. In addition, you will be the point of contact for HR issues throughout the company, so you’ll get to know all the internal leadership, managers, and employees!

Salary offers are based upon several factors including experience, education, skills, training, demonstrated qualifications, location, and organizational need. The range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. Salary is one component of the total earnings and rewards package offered.
