Role Summary:
We’re looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to help lead and drive the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Splunk Artificial Intelligence and Integrations—a key component for delivering customer value and growing the business across platform, security, and observability. In this critical role, you’ll play an integral part in shaping the future of our AI and Splunk-Cisco integrations that will advance our leadership position and momentum.

You’re experienced in developing cross-portfolio messaging and positioning for integrated products and solutions. You know how to conduct thorough market and persona research and stay ahead of the curve to ensure our strategies align with evolving market dynamics.
- Product Launch Experience: You thrive on successfully launching new capabilities and products. With a history of successfully managing product launch processes, you bring a well-informed market and marketing perspective to product management, ensuring our solutions and GTM plans are always ahead of the competition.

You’re skilled in enabling sales teams and partner channels by providing them with clear, compelling messaging and positioning on a global scale. Responsibilities:
- Develop cross-portfolio and product-level positioning and messaging for Splunk AI and Integrations that resonates with our target personas (IT professionals and leaders).
- Empower our sales and customer-facing teams with sales plays, messaging, tools, and training they need to confidently communicate our positioning, POV, and value propositions to get customers excited to try, buy and adopt Splunk AI and Integrations products and solutions.
- Inform and help drive the global GTM strategy for Splunk AI and Integrations, working collaboratively across Splunk and Cisco product marketing teams.
- Inform strategy and planning for integrated marketing campaigns, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders across the marketing team.
- Frequently conduct market and persona research and engage with customers and influencers to understand changing market dynamics and emerging trends, especially in AI.
- Work closely with our Competitive Intelligence team to articulate competitive differentiation and positioning against our top competitors.
- Work closely with our Technical Marketing team to develop and deliver compelling demos that show the value of Splunk AI and Integrations for key digital resilience use cases.
- Lead messaging, enablement, and development of marketing plans to support product launches and key events, including Cisco Live, Splunk .conf, and others.
- Collaborate with product management to gather customer insights and help inform market requirements for roadmap and future marketing plans.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in product marketing, product management, or sales engineering at a high-growth B2B software company
- Proven ability to effectively position B2B products for growth in the market, appealing to technical users and economic decision-makers
- Experience in AI, software platforms, integrations, observability, security or other software delivery spaces preferred
- Expertise in writing differentiated and compelling marketing content for all target personas and buyers
- Proven communication, presentation, public speaking, and collaboration skills
- Adept at influencing executives and building consensus in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
- Growth mindset, positive attitude (kind humans’cpolicy), and curiosity to learn and try new things
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience

Note:
Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $144,000.00 - 198,000.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
