ABOUT THE ROLE:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Design and build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Translate UX/UI designs into high-quality Angular components that work seamlessly across devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and back-end developers to deliver intuitive and accessible user experiences
  • Implement and maintain automated accessibility testing using Playwright to ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to maintain consistent behavior and look-and-feel.
  • Use accessibility evaluation tools such as WAVELighthouse, and screen readers (NVDAVoiceOver) to identify and fix issues.
  • Optionally conduct manual accessibility audits and fine-tune keyboard navigation for enhanced usability.
  • Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Strong experience with Angular (latest versions) and a solid understanding of component-driven development.
  • Proficiency in HTMLCSS, and JavaScript, with an emphasis on semantic markup and accessibility best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement and follow WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Experience using screen readers like NVDA and VoiceOver for accessibility testing. 
  • Familiarity with Playwright or similar tools for automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end evaluation tools (WAVELighthouse) and accessibility optimization.
  • Bonus: experience with manual accessibility audits, keyboard navigation improvements, and performance tuning in Angular apps.
