Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Rhapsody Integration Developer to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and maintaining healthcare system integrations using Rhapsody Integration Engine, with deep knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration interfaces using Rhapsody.
• Work with HL7 v2.x, FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, and X12 healthcare messaging standards.
• Configure and support communication protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, HTTP/S, SOAP/REST).
• Create and manage Rhapsody components (filters, mappers, translators, routes).
• Support and monitor interfaces in production environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to gather and translate requirements.
• Ensure interface documentation is up to date and complete.
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and change control.
• Adhere to HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.

Required Skills:

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine.
• Strong understanding of HL7 v2.x, FHIR, CDA, and healthcare interoperability.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.
• Scripting skills in JavaScript, Java, or Groovy within Rhapsody.
• Familiarity with EHRs, EMRs, LIS, RIS, PACS, and healthcare workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FHIR Servers, IHE profiles, or HIE integrations.
• Exposure to other integration engines like Mirth/NextGen Connect.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Rhapsody Developer Certification is a plus.
