Job description

Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager – Data Inventory for a remote 7-month contract position with a leading client in Brooklyn, OH.

Compensation: $55-60 per hour W2.



Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to support a large-scale Data Inventory effort spanning multiple tools and multiple projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role finalizing the onboarding of one data inventory tool and then quickly pivot to sunsetting, or offboarding the existing platform. This role requires strong organizational and project management skills, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organization without direct authority.

Responsibilities:
  • Finalize the project roadmap and onboarding of a new sensitive data scanning tool and lead the transition to BAU post implementation.
  • Lead project planning to sunset, or offboard an existing tool. This will require engagement across multiple lines of business and teams within the organization.
  • Work up, down, and across the organization, including influencing without direct authority.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including Corporate Information Security (CIS), Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), and Enterprise Data & Analytics Services (EDAS), and others to plan the sunsetting of the outgoing tool.
Requirements:
  • Education: bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, including both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in both MS Project and Jira
  • Strong organizational and program management skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity while driving progress forward.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage project scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Identifies, tracks, escalates, and resolves issue conflicts, performs impact analysis and prioritization
  • Manages dependencies, risks, issues, and action items across the project team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience with technology or a data project preferred.
