Job description

Healthcare Business Analyst - Cybersecurity
Location: Remote
Salary: $90-140k
Sabot Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to provide business analysis and software quality assurance services for a Healthcare software security project.
This project aims to design and build the next generation of the planned application, and expand reporting, security, and analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Apply analytical processes to IT projects, focusing on business systems analysis and design.
Conduct data classification, retention policies, and access controls analysis.
Perform risk assessments, control testing environments, and develop mitigation plans.
Lead Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
Align solutions to business and IT requirements, ensuring effective communication.
Work with state and federal audit frameworks, including NIST 800.53, ITIL, SIMM 5305.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within IT and Audits.
Utilize data governance tools and technologies like Alation, Informatica, or Collibra.
Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.

Must Have:

5 years of FTE experience applying analytical processes to IT projects.
At least 3 years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
Possess a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis .
3 years of FTE experience analyzing data classification, retention policies, and access controls.
3 years of FTE experience conducting risk assessments, control testing environments, and mitigation plans.
3 years in an Agile environment utilizing Jira Align & Atlassian Confluence.
3 years of FTE experience conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts.

Nice To Have:

Experience in aligning solutions to business and IT requirements.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with state and federal audit frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology 800.53, ITIL, SIMM 5305, and retention policies
Strong understanding of and working with cross-functional teams within IT and Audits.
Experience in data governance tools and technologies like Alation, Informatica, or Collibra.
Experience in identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
