This is a remote position. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Responsibilities:

The role’s expectation spans 4 key areas of performance:

1.     Play an integral role in the team’s support of our nationwide internal and external customers and be a key driver of providing the greatest customer experience possible.   

2.     Actively pursue opportunities to provide input and guidance to management on best practices and ideas to find additional ways to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

3.     Participate in the development of national initiatives such as warranty processing cost and time reductions. 

4.     The primary function of this position within the team is as a Warranty Specialist, mainly supporting Warranty functions, but the candidate will be expected to cross train and support all functions of the team.

·        Support customers and sales people on warranty processing

·        Support customers by answering live chat and email 

·        Work with company software for delivery and return of complete transmissions

·        Utilize company software to for tracking of orders/returns

·        Provide follow up communication with customers and vendors

·        Process credits, manage customer returns from warranty claims

·        Interact with unit vendors regarding warranty claims

·        Perform Warranty and Supplier Performance data analysis using company software and Microsoft Excel

 

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Answer incoming/make outgoing calls to customers regarding questions on orders, returns, warranty, tracking, and labor payment

·        Confirm order shipments and provide delivery updates 

·        Participate in product training and provide product specific support to customers and sales reps

·        Work with Excel and Word documents

·        Navigate the JD Edwards software

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Associate or Bachelor’s degree with concentration in a business related discipline or equivalent work experience is preferred or equivalent work experience. 

·        Experience using JD Edwards preferred

·        Must have the ability to work with patience and be courteous in customer relations

·        Effective writing, communication and interpersonal skills 

·        Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries

·        Must have strong organization skills

·        Assertive, analytical problem solver with a “can do” attitude.

·        Ability to exercise mature judgment.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Intermediate Excel level with data analytics, pivot tables, charting and formula usage required. Microsoft Power BI experience is preferred.

·        Automotive experience preferred but not required.

·        Experience with problem solving techniques (Kaizen, 8-D, Red X) and Supplier Quality management an asset.
